Chanukah, Christmas, New Year & Timing
The festive season is upon us. Whether you celebrate Chanukah or Christmas December is all about having fun, over indulging in donuts and mince pies and to quote Nat King Cole imagining “chestnuts roasting over an open fire” whilst forgetting every day routine especially moving home.
I’m sure most of you are caught up in the moment, putting up decorations and buying gifts if you haven’t already. However, I want you to stop for a couple of minutes and think about the fact there is less than 4 weeks to the New Year and January – I know it’s a depressing thought, but it doesn’t need to be….
A new year can mean a new start and a new home to go with it. It might be that you have been thinking about moving for a while but didn’t want to commit to taking that final step. Or, maybe you have already decided to market your home, but don’t see any point in doing anything in the run up to Christmas. I’m fairly certain you’re all nodding your head in agreement right about now.
Well, allow me to give you a different opinion and outlook. This is the perfect time to take that all important first step and here are a few reasons why:
1) Everyone will have the same idea, so why not be one step ahead of the competition and start the ball rolling.
2) If you instruct an agent this side of Christmas, they can already be working on marketing content etc. for your property so all that is left to be done in the New Year is photos and to “go live”.
3) Due to all the reasons I’ve already mentioned most Estate Agents are quiet at this time of year so by instructing one now, they will have double the amount of time to focus their attention on your house and provide a service that goes above and beyond.
Short and sweet I know, so if you would like any more advice please don’t hesitate to call me on 0161 773 1011 or email: email@example.com
All that is left for me to say is I hope everyone has a fab few weeks whatever you celebrate.
